Online Purchases

Return Period

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, you may return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange.

Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Have all original tags attached
  • Be returned in original packaging where possible
  • Include proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Pierced jewellery (earrings) for hygiene reasons
  • Gift cards
  • Final sale or clearance items (marked as such)
  • Items that have been worn, altered, or damaged
  • Sunglasses or eyewear that have been worn or scratched
  • Items without original tags

How to Return

Step 1: Register Your Return

Please register your return online at Katecey Account

If you're unable to complete our online returns form, please email us at wishu@katecey.food with your order number and reason for return.

Step 2: Package Your Items

Carefully package your items in their original packaging where possible. Include your order confirmation and a note with your order number and reason for return.

Please ensure items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. We recommend using tracked shipping.

Return Shipping

New Zealand Returns

Returns within New Zealand are free. A prepaid return label will be provided when you register your return online.

International Returns

For international returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

Refunds

Processing Time

Once we receive your return, please allow 5-7 business days for us to inspect the items and process your refund.

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

Partial Refunds

In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items that show obvious signs of wear or damage
  • Items without original tags or packaging
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Exchanges

We are happy to exchange items for a different size or color, subject to availability.

To request an exchange, please register your return online and select "Exchange" as your preferred option. Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send out the replacement item.

If the item you wish to exchange to is not available, we will issue a full refund or store credit, whichever you prefer.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at wishu@katecey.food with photos of the item and packaging.

We will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you free of charge, or issue a full refund including original shipping costs if you prefer.

For faulty items, we will provide a prepaid return label regardless of your location.

Store Purchases

Returns to Store

Items purchased in-store can be returned to any Katecey retail location within 30 days of purchase with original receipt.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. If you paid by cash, a cash refund will be provided.

Online Purchases Returned to Store

Items purchased online can also be returned to any Katecey retail store. Please bring your order confirmation and the items in their original condition with tags attached.

Refunds for online purchases returned in-store will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.

Sale Items

Sale items can be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange, provided they meet our return conditions.

Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged.

Important Notes

  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during return. Please use tracked shipping and keep your tracking number.
  • Any customs duties or taxes paid on the original order are non-refundable.
  • Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused or delayed.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our return conditions.
  • Consumer guarantees and statutory rights are not affected by this returns policy.
